With your donation you 100% support the project, including the everyday work of volunteers in Sri Lanka. The funds within this project cover different needs, mostly for training equipment, such as balls, caps and football shirts, the transportation of children to the training and tournament venues and also for donations in kind like, for example, football boots, meals etc.
Risks
The project itself will be implemented even with few donations. However, the amount of donated funds influences the scale of the project. With more money we can train more children, educate more trainers, school more social workers as well as purchase more materials. The goal is that there is no village left which cannot participate due to the lack of donations. The project success will be measured not by the amount of the donated funds but by the satisfaction of every single participant. In any case the promised “packages’ on the basis of your donation will be delivered as planned symbolizing our gratitude for the support. The profit of this project which may become available after the final tournament will be invested in further, tested by us youth projects in Sri Lanka.
Delivery
The project starts around September 2017 and lasts still February 2018, during this period of time you will be regularly updated on the project. On an interactive map you will see where we are actually and with how many children we work. The individual player card and the LANKAStreet Soccer Shirt which you can get based on your donation will be shipped as of March 1st, 2018. The production and editing of the picture book and DVDs is carried out till May 2018. The shipping takes place as of June 2018. We will send the picture books and DVDs using the available addresses. We ask you to kindly inform us about possible changes in advance.
Participants of the premiere of LANKAStreet Soccer will be personally notified and invited by us.
