LANKAStreet Soccer

LANKAStreet Soccer is a project of Stefan Werly for applied sciences to support children from Sri Lanka in the form of involvement in leisure activities. 

 

My name is Stefan Werly, a student, father of four children and enthusiastic soccer player. I am studying two semester at the ZHAW – Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Social Work. The goal of my project is to take children from streets to the sports grounds and to convey through football the message of socialization, cooperation, respect, friendship and social integration. The project is designed to encourage local social work, adapt LANKAStreet Soccer and provide children with a regular platform for guided and instructed leisure activities after school.
